How to Claim Money from sahara?

Many of you might be wondering, "How will I get the money I invested in Sahara India?" The answer is here. The Government of India has launched a portal where you can register yourself and receive the money you invested in the Sahara India family. However, you will not receive the full amount immediately. This means you will not receive the interest money right now; you will have to wait a little longer.

As you know, the money of depositors in Sahara India is stuck. Shri Amit Shah has launched the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal to return the money trapped in Sahara India Society. So far, ₹5000 crores have been transferred to CRCS accounts. All the public whose money is stuck can apply for a refund through the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal by registering themselves.

Who Can Apply on the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal?

Anyone who has invested money in any scheme of Sahara India can apply on this portal. If you have invested money in any of the schemes launched by Sahara India, you can log in to the CRCS portal to claim your refund. At the moment, you will get only between ₹10,000 to ₹30,000. So, interest-related questions do not arise at this point. As for when the remaining money will be refunded, no specific information has been provided yet, and no notification has been published regarding it.

Steps to Apply on the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal:

  1. Visit the official website (link provided above).
  2. On the home page, click on the "Depositor Registration" tab.
  3. Enter the last four digits of your Aadhar number and the mobile number linked to your Aadhar.
  4. Your mobile number and Aadhar number will be verified, and you will be redirected to the next page.
  5. On the next page, you will need to confirm the UIDAI Declaration and click "Next."
  6. Enter your full Aadhar number, click to receive OTP, and verify the OTP.
  7. After OTP verification, your details such as Name, Date of Birth, Father's Name will appear. Enter your Email ID and click Save Email and then Next.
  8. Now, you will need to enter the Society NameMembership NumberAccount NumberAccount Opening Date, and Deposit Amount.
  9. Upload your Deposit Certificate or Passbook (size should be 200KB or less).
  10. After uploading the documents, click on "Add Claim" and then click "Next."
  11. Download and print the Claim Request Form, sign it, and upload it.
  12. Within the next 15 days, you will receive a notification via SMS or email. After 45 days of your claim, the money will be transferred to your bank account linked with your Aadhar number.
